Upon completion of deputation we arrived in Brazil on April 5th of 2005. Having the privilege of growing up on the field of Brazil with my missionary parents, Dan and Gerri Johnson, I was able to begin working for the Lord immediately. We helped fellow missionary Dan Bennett in the work he had just started a few months before in a neighboring city, Osasco. While there I was able to help train soul winners and start a soul winning program which has seen many people saved, and growing in the Lord. I also taught the adult Sunday school class and preached on a regular basis. We worked in Osasco for two years before God moved us to start a church in São Paulo.

World Vision Baptist Church After much prayer and fasting we felt it was time to start World Vision Baptist Church. We rented an old factory and after much hard work and preparation we were able to start on September 2nd of 2007. We handed out over 25,000 flyers and had 62 people on our opening night. World Vision Baptist Church is located in a middle class neighborhood since its beginning we have been able to reach out to different types of people. We have seen the hard working middle class as well as people in slums accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. We have seen children, teens, and adults come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. |

First Baptist Church In February of 2009 I accepted the pastorate of the First Baptist Church of Parque Bristol. I Pastored the two churches for four months but soon sough Gods leading to merge World Vision Baptist Church with First Baptist Church. We merged the two churches in May of 2009. The members of both churches have accepted the merger and each other very well.
