MISSION
FLIGHT ZAMBIA provides air transport for missionaries, church
workers, medical personnel and patients.
OBJECTIVE
The overall objective is to provide flight service for the SIM missionary work
in Zambia and the Southern Africa region. In
conjunction with this objective we are also able to assist other evangelical
Christian groups as well as various medical programs.

AIMS
- To assist missionaries and other personnel in their movements to and from
their places of work.
- To enable short-term missionaries and visitors to maximize their time
in the field.
- To provide emergency medical flight service.
- To assist with the transportation of children to and from schools.

STAFF
Presently the one family involved full-time in the aviation program is Don
and Gwen Amborski. Don is a Commercial Pilot with Instrument Rating, a licensed Airframe and Power plant Mechanics. He
does all of the maintenance on the plane.
AIRCRAFT
Currently we are operating a 6-seater, Cessna 206, 9J-MFZ.
It is equipped with Robertson STOL, (Short Takeoff and Landing), a cargo
pod, and extra fuel tanks to give a total of 7.5 hours endurance.
The aircraft is based at Mukinge Mission Hospital, 1.5 hours flying time
northwest of the capitol of Zambia, Lusaka. Annually
9J-MFZ flies between 350 - 400 hours.
